Where's the Beef??????

Oh my...it's been forever since we've updated. Um...well, before I digress, how do you think my profile looks in this pic? I'm tryin' a new rinse on my furs with Golden Highlights and I think I have a lot more body, don't ya think? "What, Mango? I just set myself up?" Huh? Dunno what the RH is flappin' bout now.....

So um there might have been a little incident at Bark in the Park last week. Mumsie and I went by ourselves for some Mumsie/Lacie Quality time. And she had a new collar on me....and to say I didn't like it would be an understatement.

This hoooooooooooooooooooge Golden gets right up in my grill....no, not this puppy, but a full grown creature who musta whispered somethin' bout my mother. Besides, she had some lovely highlights, that I wanted.

Evidently, I didn't respond "in an appropriate fashion," cuz Mumsie and I went to a one on one training class this week. (And yes, the Golden squealed like a big cry baby...tattle tale....)

Mumsie here....I'm pretty sure there is a WANTED poster up at the park with Lacie's face on it. She seems to have removed more than a bit of fur from the Golden. I wanted to dig a hole and crawl in it.

I wasn't happy. Till I saw what I had to do....

Amy, the trainer, brought out this hooooooooge carob Lab who was so fat he looked stuffed. All I had to do was LOOK at the Lab, and make eye contact with Amy. And not REACT.

AND THEN I GOT THIS. Well, not the whole thing, but little bits of it...ROAST BEEF.

I decided then and there to de-fur every Golden I see from now on if it means class and ROAST BEEF.

Life is good. And never dull around here!!

Lacie; For Sale Cheap.....

Yes, yes...I am so in the Naughty Corner...lookie at Mumsie's furs in this picture...honestly, all I did was try to improve them...so last week as Mumsie ushered me into the shower for a fur wash, um well I went crackerdog attacking the shower door and sprang up and well hung from the thinnin' side of her furs. Tore a nice chunk offa them, I did...and then this morning she was tryin' to towel me off in the shower and well um I might have done the same thing again...cept from the other slightly thicker side...I am so all about symmetry.

Frankly, I like her new Lacie Layers a lot more than she does. And as for that small second degree burn on her arm from last night when she and I had a bit of a fight over the cookie sheet comin' outta the oven? So not my fault. She is so just a big crybaby...yep....

Now this really fries my socks...an alert Asta sent me this pic from Bonedog Goodmints from New York...Stanley and I had both applied for modeling jobs there...SO WHY AM I SITTIN' OUT ON THE SIDEWALK? All he has to do is stand really still and hold that newspaper in his large Dale mouth....and he gets PAID for doing that? Like hooge numbers of dollars?

This is an outrage...this is so not fair...

Ruh roh...back to the Naughty Corner...I hear Mumsie comin'....to check...she mumbled something 'bout me bein' a poor example for the boyz...and the rest of blogland.

OH BOY...is it ever SMOKIN' HOT around here....um the air conditioning busted today....and Mumsie found out tonight that she had 'SPLODED a can of Coke Zero in the freezer today....HAHAHAHAHA!!! And Scruffy lifted his leg on Mumsie's fifty year old grandmother clock.... Oh, I learned so many new words tonight!!!

Of Cupcakes, Brides and Two Special Wiry Visitors!

Lacie Cupcakes here....look at these pix from our Sissy's bridal shower!!! Have ya ever seen anything so scrumptious...Mumsie um well er ate three of them...they were amazing!!!

The shower was soooooooooo lovely!! Bruvver's wife, Auntie Sus (mother of the imposter Nurse Baylee, fake RN, yes I'm bitter) did an astounding job plannin' it!! It was fabulous...I hid behind the cupcake table and watched all the activities....no one ever even missed that extra fondant I ingested!! It was divine!!

Here's our lovely Sissy with her bouquet of bows that she'll use in her wedding rehearsal...does it surprise you that she has a black kitty, a white kitty with pink ears and a black and white kitty?
I'm just sayin'....

Here's Mumsie clutchin' her Coke Zero and Sissy on a pontoon boat we rented....Lake Norman was HOT...like a hot tub....temperature of the water had to be in the high nineties....very odd....

Daddy took this pic of Bruvver divin' off the tube....what an action shot!!

And here's one he took of Mumsie fallin' off the tube...Mumsie couldn't move her neck for a while...wonder why....

Flash forward to yesterday....we had Two Special Wiry VISITORS....none other than the famous Jake and Miss Fergie...here I am tryin' to get Jake to ask me for a DATE...SHEESCH...that boy is so shy!!!

And here I am givin' Miss Fergie with her Nina Girlie a sniff...PUPARAZZI everywhere...

Shockingly, we were SO GOOD....Mumsie couldn't believe it. Stan and Scruffy play bowed and I offered our guests refreshments...Mumsie was a bit preoccupied with our potential behavior and offered Miss Sally a glass of water and Ninagirlie some ice tea. They all sat down at the table and Nina looked at Mumsie and asked very sincerely if she could have some tea over her ice cubes. All Mumsie gave her was the ice. She musta thought it was some kinda Burgh tradition, poor dear.

Here was the welcoming committee for our special wiry pals and Aunt Sally and Nina....Mumsie thought this was as close as Jake and Fergi would get to the Holy Terriers...she of little faith...

We can be good...when we want to!!!!!

A Shower of Love!!

OMD....Laciecupcakes here....guess what we're doin' this weekend....going to Charlotte, NC to attend our Big Sissy's bridal shower!!! Bet you can guess her weddin' colors from this cupcake tree...black, pink and white...her signature shades!!! I so plan on hidin' in the suitcase so I can just bury my nose in that buttercream frosting!!! Oh, I so love cake....

This is where the Peeps and Bruvver and Auntie Sus are gonna be stayin'....on Lake Norman....we are all so grateful this trip is even happenin' much less havin' Daddy be able to come too!!! He's doin' fabbers...appears to have made an amazing complete recovery....he's a bit crabby cuz Mumsie's still drivin' him around and he has to take it easy, but that's just for a little bit longer....Stanley has offered to be his chauffeur, but he hasn't taken him up on that.

All this weddin' shower stuff reminded me of Myrna's bridal event...now that was a good time!!!

I certainly intend to wear a lovely hat!!!

Beggin' From Daddy!!

Scruffy here....you know...we could really get used to havin' Daddy around durin' the day...he's a lot more free-handed with the foodables...Mumsie's a bit STIN GEE....



Here we terriers are in fine beggin' postion....Stanny and Lacie are a lot more serious 'bout it...lookit their tails compared to mine.....

See that box of Nilla Vanilla Wafers on the table??? Now, before you get your shorts in a knot, Lacie insisted they be low fat....oh... Nurse Lacie has been INSUFFERABLE...bossin' Daddy and Stan and me around...she said to tell you she contacted the PA Board of Nursing and there is NO RECORD of Baylee ever gettin' her nursing license....harumph, sez the Lacie...

But I digress...don't we look attractive sharin' those cookies with Daddy???

Thank you again for all your well wishes and prayers!!!....Mumsie respectfully suggests you point them toward makin' him take it easy....that's gonna be the toughest thing!!!
