Oh UGG!!!! So many icicles....so little time....we have water leakin' in our house from all this ice...but have you ever known the Lacie to waste ice????

Mumsie's goin' to Charlotte this weekend to help Sissy pick out her wedding gown...and it's supposed to be almost sixty. She's quite pleased...

Meantime, I gotta get this extension cord inside the house....ANYBODY WANNA COME OVER FOR A SMOOTHIE PAWTY? Don't bring ICE!!!!!!! We're good on that part!!!

BEWARE THE LACIE....!!!

Lacie has been in SUCH a MOOD lately...she killed her bunny...the one she slept with every night for like FOREVER???!!!

Bunny is very flat...she destuffed it well...through a hole she surgically crafted in its BUTT....

She's been soooooooooo grumpy...Mumsie likens her to a little mechanical motorized doggie...with her GROWLER stuck in the ON position....

Maybe it has somethin' to do with McGillicutty DROPPING her at the Blarney Stone cuz HER BUTT'S TOO HEAVY!!!!!

Being a thoughtful foxy wire, I sent McG these barbells...further weighted down with Mango and Lacie's butts on top of 'em....Better start that workout, Dude...you're gonna need it if ya keep datin' Laciegirl.

This might be another reason for her irritability! Yes, I received this yesterday from Mango...

Lacie even hung it in her crate....but it seems she made a few changes......she said somethin' bout Norwood being blind for passin' her up....

She's not too happy with Norwood...or Norweed, as she refers to him...she seems a little bitter.

She was going to ask him on some exotic date and possibly bump him off a cliff....

But instead, sweet Lacie asked him on a PICNIC right here in our yardie...(and Mumsie wonders why we have water leakin' everywhere....)

Norwood's still sittin' out there...Lacie seems in no hurry to join him???

This post is dedicated to Penny, Poppy and Patches' Dad and to Wally....we would have waited in deference to them to post this, but dear MAX is on his World Tour and popped by to see us....we hope that the silliness here helps to give someone a smile today!!!

Scruffman here...LOOK!!! Look who's in our yard...IN THE SNOW! It's MAX....all the way from South Africa....he's on a WORLD TOUR...we are honored with his presence. Max has been educatin' us in Blogland for a while...he's now teaching us bigger lessons...of courage, grace and dignity....we walk with him on his journey....we want him to know we are HERE for him!!!

Now this is where this post gets dicey....Lacie has a new LOVE INTEREST....

McGillicutty? That studmuffin Irish Terrier??? Ya gotta go and introduce yourselves, if ya haven't....he's been working really hard to get visitors to his bloggie...Lacie calls him Gillie....AND...

Yes, she asked him on a DATE. My sister is nuthin' but predictable...well, it is VALENTINE'S DAY WEEKEND!!!

Look at 'em here...yeppers...a Saint's fan...Stan and I were worried bout this new boyfriend routin' for the OTHER Black and Gold, but evidently he admires this dude here in the picture...none other than the famous Steeler, JOE STAINS...Gotta love his taste...and Joey's hair!















And look....Gillie seems to know MAX...he's evidently visiting him too, on his Tour!!















Gillie, bein' Irish and all offered to take Lacie out for a beer...a Guinness to be exact...now Lac is more of a smoothie girlie, but A DATE'S A DATE in her book...















Petey, bein' helpful as usual sent THREE TICKETS for them to FLY TO IRELAND....












YEP...one for Gillie, one for Lacie and ONE FOR LACIE'S BUTT...look at MAX tryin' to figure out what that hoooge object is...we heard that plane had to remove a bunch of luggage just to get off the ground....and that it took three tries down the runway....















Why is MAX on this date? For protection....and not for Lacie....wordie is by the waterbowl that other dogs are fearin' for Gillie's life here....well, ya know Lacie....

Here he is whisperin' some advice to Gillie...

Now, Chap, don't be mentionin' anything about the size of her caboose....it makes her go stark ravin' madders cracker dog...and are ya up to date on your rabies????

Look at this pic of the romantic couple on their way into the pub.....that Gillie looks like he's already been samplin' the brew....and Lacie's SMIRKING already???

I see why the other dogs have been concerned....

Here they are for another round of brewskies...'cept I think Lacie brought her blender...she never goes anywhere without it...thank dog MAX is there...I'm chewin' my nails.....Lacie is at her most dangerous when she's wearing pearls!

For some reason, Gillie suggested to Lacie that they motor over to KISS the BLARNEY STONE...like Lacie ever needs persuaded to do any KISSIN'....and lookie what will happen if she kisses it...

Sheesch...all that dumb Lacie does is shriek and persuade...she needs this like she needs more shoes in her overly stuffed closet....

Hmm...that's an odd position for kissin' the stone...I can just hear her nails scrabbling...LACIE....BE CAREFUL!!!

OMD...SHE FELL!!!!!!!!!

Oh, Mumsie's gonna go ballistic....she FELL...took the PLUNGE...

BUT LOOK....her big backside got STUCK!!!!! How is she ever going to get rescued?????

Gillie must be havin' a heartie attack!!!!

OMD...she didn't TAKE the plunge....SHE WAS TOILET PLUNGED....he popped her right back to safety!!!

McGillicutty is a HERO!!!!!!!!! That is one quick-witted Irish...

So Very Sad.....

Lacie here...Mumsie, Scruffy, Stanny and I want to give our condolences to Penny, Poppy, and Patches's mom, Lana in the loss of her husband. He's been very ill and today they bid him goodbye...





We also lost Wally today. A great dog...





We're overwhelmed with sadness.





We know underneath all our snow lie sleeping flowers...bringing with them the promise and hope of Spring.





We hope these families can take comfort in all the love we have for them...we wish we could give them "real" hugs...please know our paws and arms are reaching in their directions...

Happy 3rd Barkday, Laciegirlie!!!!!

Yeppers...Scruffy here...tomorrow (Monday) Lacie celebrates #3!!!!! Mumsie sez it was just yesterday she brought Laciegirlie home on that long drive from Philly...yes, Lacie comes from Khyra Kountry....Stan and I gotta admit...this house would be BORING without her...I mean just last night, NORWOOD came over here...unleashed of course to offer me congratulations on my HONORABLE MENTION at Mango Minster...Lacie pushed him into a drift. Then she asked him on a DATE. Hmm...ya gotta feel bad for the guy......

Stan and I made this cake for her...she tunneled through it.....you know how she ADORES icing.

Um...here's the back view...not pretty...that icing just seems to go right to her butt...

Based upon a suggestion with everyone bein' worried that Lacie make get lost in the drifts...

Stanny and I attached these balloons to her tail....we were worried they might pull her straight up in the air, but it was like there was a hoooge SANDBAG attached...no problem....

She's invited all her friends over for a pawty....boys are welcome to play POKER with Stan and me....

Stan here...as the largest terrier, I feel responsible for the pack in these extreme weather conditions....da Burgh hasn't seen snow like this in years....

We got about two feet...Lacie isn't two feet tall...she's only a foot at the shoulders....about six feet wide from the rear...(hee hee hee...)

I'm breakin' trail...Scruffy's probably breakin' wind....thank dog, I'm in front of him, not behind.....

Yeppers, Scruffy here...tomorrow's a BIG DAY here in Western PA...Goundhog Day...where up in Punxsutawney, PA just north of da Burgh that Phil dude tries to see his shadow...he's hooge...lookit that face...

This year they're havin' all sorts of fights about it...PETA sayin' Phil should be replaced by a "robotic" groundhog...do they make those?

This year, we decided to have our own "sighting" a day early...TODAY.

And it's NOT Groundhog "Phil"....it's GoundDOG "GIL"....yes, our wheelie Gilbert has volunteered to do the deed....

The crowds gather....darn we're cute...new meanin' to Raising the Bar, huh?

She's been sorta missing...and we've seen these notes to Asta from a Greatest Dane named "Jacie"...they seem to be in Monte Carlo together...gambling...but Asta is SEA QUEST HERD from dogs with bloggies...for Mango's Minster....
