Look at Stan's tongue...what is it with Dales and their tongues????

Obviously, the black and tans have NO IDEA where the squirrel went.

More sit stays...lookit Lacie...she never listens.....

Stan's sooooooooooooo bored.

Lacie...turn ur stoopid head the other way....Enuff...let's do something waaaay more fun.

More like it...FRISBEE!!!! I have my eye on it...trackin' it...even in the wind....

Snatch...straight outta the air!!!!! Clamped safe into my foxy jaws.....

Scruffy with his mouth full of frisbee...is a happy Scruffy.....if the world were only this simple, huh? Live in the moment...RUN, FETCH..... JOY....I love bein' a dog.

Yep we dogs have it good compared to pinkies. Love all the photos Scruffy. About the tongue....well we dales can't help it. We're hot stuff and sticking our tongues out cools us down.

Oh Scruffy,

You look so handsome in all your photos. And you are so athletic, too. You are my hero! I just love you.
Sigh...

Looks like Stan is telling Munsie and Dadsie what he thinks of "Sit, Down, Stay." Lacie, as usual, seems to be preoccupied.

Great post, Scruffy!

Love and Koobuss Kisses for Everybody,

Did I told you that Dyos has now private lessons with a dogtrainer ? Last friday she tried 30 minutes to make him stay....without success...hahahaha
Dogtrainer : 0 - Dyos : 1 !!!
Last time I catched a frisbee I didn't want to give it back and I destroyed it....oups....
Life is just fabulous !

Hey, Scruffman!

We love watching you run like the wind for that frisbee, man! And, all of that synchronized sitting you 3 do. Stella & I can barely coordinate that kind of synchronicity and there's only 2 of us!

As for Dale tongues, they have a mind of their own. (I thought you knew that by now!)

Goober love,
Stanley

Herc is doing better, but still not feeling great. His mama is on a poo watch, just like you guys were for Lacie a couple of weeks ago.

Hi, You Guys...

Lacie looks a little distracted in some of the pictures...Is she thinking about her next date?

Hey...my Mom is a pain in the "neck", let's say...

She finally got the last of the Prizes for my Birthday Contest this morning & was going to mail them on the way to work, but she forgot that the Post Office is Closed for lunch from 11:00 to 12:00...

She says we will be mailing the Prizes on Saturday...I'm sooo sorry, but I'm kind of at her mercy, 'ya know??

The three of you are much better behaved than us. We never got into frisbees. Foley just let the thing gonk him in the snout. I'd rather chase a stuffie that is soft.

Oh Scruffy, you are so right! Life as dogs really is wonderful isn't it!? I wish every pup in the world had as much fun as we do!

You all look so well-behaved in this post. Momma says I need to take notes. I got in a tussle with a kitty cat last night... yep, that's right. And it won. :(

Scruffy. The synchro sitting is pretty impressive..well apart from Lacie who is not that synchro lying down, nor is or your ear, or Stan's mouth come to that. Ok scrap that..you are pretty impressive at catching the frisby thing. I'd be looking like Lacie or Stan soooooooooooo bored. But life is wagging yes indeedie.

Hi Scruffy! You're a great frisbee player - wow! And what cute pictures of the three of you! I'm so glad Lacie's feeling good again.

Lacie and that SMIRK of hers, geez. Looks like you guys kinda listened, well 2 out of 3 in most pics. That smart singer once said 2 out of 3 aint bad, and I believe him.

I hope Lacie is gaining some weight back!

Hi Friend of Scruffy, Stanley and Lacie;
Pete Dowan here !
I realize that there is very little chance that this e-mail will result in anything, but that's better than the zero chance if I didn't try. I was googling for Dog related blogs and I came across your site and thought I'd contact you.
I am a medically disabled songwriter from St Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and have written many songs about many different subjects and in several different styles.
One song in particular was a personal thank you to my dog. The song is called "Good Friend".
I mention my disability because various factors of my condition stop me from being able to use professional studios to record my songs, so I have to do them here, at home, in my basement, on donated equipment from musicians I used to work with. For the same reason, I also am unable to perform my music live.
HISTORY OF THE SONG::: For the first few years that I had my current health condition I had a very difficult time walking. One of my doctors figured out the reason, and when that was dealt with, it was up to me to get myself "going". That's where our dog, Scuttle, came in. He bugged me daily to take him out ... wouldn't let up until I did so. His determination was catching, and within a year we were both going on outings that I never dreamed I'd be able to do again. As a thank you, I wrote the above mentioned song for him. (R.I.P. my boy)
If you know it's about a dog, the lyrics jump out at you as being obvious, but if you don't, there's only one line that definitely points to it.
I was wondering if you'd like to hear the song, since your blog is about dogs and for dog people. I can send you an MP3, a short term link or it can be heard on my "MySpace" page ... which is myspace.com/petedowan ... the second song on the list. If you would give it a listen, I'd love to get your opinion on it.
I DO understand if you'd rather not.
Have a great day, and keep smiling.

Musically Yours,
Pete Dowan [pronounced like plowin' ] pdowan@aol.com

Baby Rocket Dog and Hootie said...

You 3 do a mean "sit/stay". Hootie passed that test at puppy class but in reality doesn't do to well. He has what we call selective hearing. hmmmmm. Always seems to work to his advantage. The disc catch was really fine Scruffy! You have lovely form!
