Hey Everybody...Mumsie here...Lacie was up almost all night last night...(we're on night number four of no sleep...) she was still passing blood and vomiting...this morning she still wouldn't eat so I took her to the vetties today...she was dehydrated from all the vomiting etc...heavy on the etc!They took xrays and gave her IV antibiotics and fluids all day. I picked her up for the night with her IV still in...a lampshade is in her future for her night, poor girl. She has to go back in the morning for more fluids...she tossed her cookies in the parking lot again and in my car...all over my nursing uniform....not the first time for that uniform to have the barfoshower!!
They didn't see anything on the xrays and nothing has cultured out either...hmm...sounds like they just don't know...
She's in a VERY BAD MOOD...as you can see this unattractive hospital gown does nuthin' for her...the boyz can't get near her...teeth are bared!!
Thank dog the nurses are all here 'cept for Snickers who had to return home with another visit from that nasty seizure monster....Auntie Bailey seems to be keeping the strictest order in the sick room...I may need to starch my scrubs...sigh...I just wish she'd give me back my Coke Zero....

Ahh Mumsie, we had no idea that Lacie's exorcism was going to be so rough on all of you.
Seriously, we're worried about the little girl and hope that this is resolved quickly and with a happy outcome for all. Hope she settles in for the night and gives you and her tummy a rest.

I imagine you must be grouchy and the boys might be reacting badly to your somewhat compromised state.

We hope that you ALL get some good rest tonight, and that Lacie is feelin a little better in the mawnin'. Muzzer says that the nursies worked wonders for Teka, but that Lacie and her blender were what helped her most. So we have packed up the remains of the blender (we went through two that weekend) and also the nonperishable smoothie ingredients, and we are sending them on their way to you posthaste. Hope they help.

Lacie, we're sorry to hear you feel so bad. Have you tried plain pumpkin for your dia-maria? DawgMom gives us some of that when she visits us. It always helpsus chase that old gal dia-maria away. Sounds rough for poor Lacie girl.We hope she gets better soon. BabyRD saw the vet this morning too. She seems to be much better tonight. She's only allowed to eat boiled,white,long grain,rice and chicken broth. Looked good to me.

Poor Lacie... We totally know what you are going through because Hershey just recently recovered from a nasty bout of diarrhea (and we still don't know what the cause is).

So sorry to hear about Lacie. We will pray for her quick recovery!! Try not to worry too much humans - doggie illnesses can be so weird. Remember when Ax went lame for 30 hours...could NOT move at all? It scared the bejesus out of us, spent hours at the vet and then it just passed and he was 100%. It was so frightening.
