Goodbye, Sweet Rose...Run Free!!!!!

Hi Everydog, Hammie, and Kitty...

Babystan here. I have the sad news that my grandma Rose went to the Rainbow Bridge today. Wasn't she a beauty? She was fourteen and lived a full and much loved life. When Mumsie and Bruvver came to take me home, Mumsie was smitten with Rose...she was a beautiful gentle soul.

Please leave notes of support and condolences here for Bob and Cathy...we're sure they are going to miss her dearly. They read our bloggie a lot and know many of you....thank you for your caring...it's what DWB's does bestest!!!

"Bob and I said our final good-bye to our dear sweet Rose today. She was a gentle girl who ruled our home with dignified calmness and grace."

An Angel's Kiss

We go through life so often,Not stopping to enjoy the day.And we take each one for granted,As we travel on our way.
For in your pain and sorrow,An Angel's Kiss will help you through,This kiss is very private,For it is meant for only you.
We never stop to measure,Anything we just might miss. But if the wind should blow by softly,You'll feel an Angel's Kiss.
A kiss that is sent from heaven,A kiss from up aboveA kiss that is very special,From someone that you love.
So when, your hearts are heavy,And filled with tears and pain. And no one can console you,Remember once again.
About the ones you grieve for,Because you sadly miss. And the gentle breeze you took for granted,Was just an Angel's Kiss.

To Bob and Cathy...

I read your email with a sad heart...I remember Rose well...she was so dignified in her role as matriarch of the family!! (If I remember correctly, Stanley was anything BUT dignified that day!!!)

We're thinking of you at this sad time; it's just so hard to lose a beloved dog...your hearts must be so sad.

Much love to you!!

Pee/s: About coming up with a competition about the pup pups, I think that's a brilliant idea! I may not have much time to blog about it & may even delay in the prize giving as Mommy has a new job & I definitely won't have much energy to blog all the time too since I will be a fat blob soon. So how?

Sweet BabyStan!

My girl always has a soft spot in her heart for any Dale girl named Rose. Her Rosie was her first rescue Dale and her heartdog. I have the feeling your grandma was Bob & Cathy's heartdog.

Rose will not be forgotten. She was obviously one loved girlie, and now she runs wild and free at the bridge, where you will see her again someday. We here in GooberStan hope she is running with our Rosie Girl, who loved to run like the wind!

Goober love & smooches of comfort,
Stanley, Stella & our girl
