A Rare View.....

Yeppers, Scruff here...ya don't get to see THIS very often...this was Lacie durin' the most excitingest 4th quarter of the Steeler's game...
Ya halftime we needed to use the facilities in the yard. Some blithering a** decided to set off fireworks at halftime....Lacie's worst nightmare. She came in shakin', shiverin' and pantin'....Mumsie was afraid she might have a she gave her her special relaxin' medicine...yep, ya guessed it...SHE SLEPT RIGHT THROUGH THE END OF THE GAME.
OUT COLD. And was she ever hop-spittin' mad when she woke up to find the game over......Stan and I thought it prudent to exist the house and hang out in the yard for a while...ugleeeeeeee scene.
Hope you dogs, kitties and hammies are havin' a fab day!

She pounded HOW MANY Iron City brewskies?

Poor Lacie. Not only did she have to put up with the fireworks and missing the last of the game, but she has to have that photo splashed across the blog for all to see.
You two need to stay outside a while longer. We all know how she gets even.

Poor Lacie!
So sorry she missed the end of the game! You two better steer clear for awhile! Us girls can get pretty bad when we are angry!

What's wrong with sleeping like that? That's how I always zonk ... it might not be ladylike, but it shows a girl completely comfortable in her own skin, or fur, as it were.

Awwwwh, poor Lacie. Darn hoomans setting off fireworks, some nerve. Hope you taped the 4th quarter so Lacie can view it. Hmmmm, think some doggies better have a super bowl pawty. It should be a good game!

Poor princess!! I hope you filled her in with the details!

I'm with Madison on this! Lacie Girl is completely & totally comfy in her own skin, and it shows! Bummer about the fireworks, but we're glad Mumsie had her own kind of cocktail to help our buddy out in her time of need.

Personally, I think you look very cute like that, Lacie. Our girl sleeps like that all the time.

Scruff, you and Stan need to start sleeping with 1 eye open.

Goober love & smooches,

Are you going to give her the same medicine when they play the Snooper Bowl? When the Steelers win, I'm sure there will be fireworks before, during and after the game!

That's great. Now I know what to slip in her pawtinis next time I see her. Are you sure she was passed out or was that just an excuse for a total huzzy photo?

Koobuss said...

Lacie doesn't look like she's upset about anything. Personally, I think she has the right idea.

What was that "medicine" that she had, again? Can I get some?

Oh heck...poor Lacie.
Do you want me to come over and give my biggest growl to those idiots who let off the fireworks? I will ya know. I can be pretty scary when I want.

I gotta tell ya why B sent Lucy to get the possum. Tess doesn't need anymore trips to the vet lol, Willow would freeze with fright and I'd probably get caught up in the vine plus I'm kinda heavy for B to lift hehehe.

You can come over anytime you like Lacie. Lucy did a crap job...the possum is still there.
