The Big Dale's in Trouble Now!!!

Oh my....see this lock on this door??? Well, it's locked. And guess who was on the other side of that basement door....Mumsie and me, Lacie.

(Reinactment...)See who locked the door? Stoopid Stanley jumps on the door and pushes the lock in with one of his massive Dale paws.

What you can't hear are Mumsie and me shoutin' at the big lughead to unlock the door. Stanley doesn't seem to be too concerned about this dilema.....look at him stickin' his big Dale tongue out at the door.
Normally, when this happens, Mumsie simply gets a wire hanger and picks the lock...one of her many talents.

There were only plastic hangers in the basement. No lock pickin' stuff. But there is a door in the basement. So Mumsie and I waded through the drifting snow to walk all the way around the house to the garage. Only one problem...Mumsie had one sock on...and the other foot was barefoot. (The sock had fallen off in her boot....) Yeppers...she had to walk barefoot through the snow to get back inside.

Not exactly a balmy day at the beach to be doin' this type of activity.

Hmm....Scruffy was fascinated by her snow covered foot.
You can just imagine what kinda mood she's in now......

Oh my that is such a funny story, of course we are not laughing at your mom, we are laughing WITH her right? We can't believe how lucky she was that the garage was open. Can you imagine? What a disaster that would have been otherwise.

Lacie!

I just KNEW STanley would finally figure out his talents, and he has! I too am known to lock the door behind my girl, but usually it is me locking her out of the house!

I can just picture Mumsie traipsing through the snow in 1 sock. I'm sure she's rolling on the floor from all of the laughter that ensued.... NOT!

Stan Stan Stan, do NOT lock out the one that feeds you. and do NOT lock out the one that can feed ON you. I would not tick off Lacie if I were you!

Ohh, that is one of Mom's worst nightmares, locking herself out of the house. If one of us dogs did it to her, boy would we be in trouble! Fortunately we're a bit too small for that...
Good thing your Mom's a good lock picker!

Mindboggling...

I have several questions, but decided not to ask them. Some things you are better off not knowing.

Scruffy, you look very handsome. Are we going to the Super Bowl? A trip to Florida would be nice just about now. One more ice storm this year and I am going into hiding. I think that we've had four so far, and something (an East Coast storm, as they are calling it) is coming on Tuesday. Help!!

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

Wow! Stan just keeps finding more and more of his hidden talents! We hope Mumsie's foot didn't get frostbite! And we hope she lets Stanley live! You might need to put one of those things, on the door lock, that they put on outdoor water fawcets, in the winter! Of course, being a 'dale, he's probably just chew through the styrofoam.

BabyStan, I know how much fun it was to lock up Lacie in the dungeon, but not cool to do it when she had mom along with her. I hope you used that sandpaper tongue of yours to help her foot thaw out.
