Happy St. Patrick's Day from Pittsburgh!

We love our city...even though all three of us are transplants to the 'Burgh....ya gotta admit, it's a great place to be a dog! We thought we'd show you a pic of Pittsburgh on March 17th, 1936.
Flood!!
All of the snow was meltin' and pouring into our rivers....the Allegheny and the Monongahela...where those two rivers meet makes the "Point"...there,they turn into the Ohio River. It made one huge flood. Our grandparents used to tell Mumsie about it....yes...1936 was before her time even though it seems like she's 105 yrs old.
That was before flood control. It was the worst natural disaster in the history of Western Pennsylvania. We hope it was the last!!
Doesn't our city look better today? People think Pittsburgh is ugly, sooty and dirty, but it's really quite beautiful! What a pawsome view of the city at night!!!
Have a great St. Patrick's Day...May the luck of the Irish be with you all!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you. So glad to meet you and glad that you stopped by my place. I also am a friend of Stanley, mostly Asta, and it is fun to meet new friends. I was wondering if you turn your river green for St. Pat's Day like they do in Chicago? Be sure to visit again.

Hi Guys!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too!

Love the picture of Pittsburgh. I know it is a beautiful city. It seems like every year it is rated highly on the Best Places to Live lists. We'd love to see more photos.

Pennsylvania has a lot going for it. The eastern part of our state is beautiful, too.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,

Hmm.. I am surprised that some people think Pittsburgh is 'ugly, sooty and dirty'... I haven't set my paws there yet, but it really looks sooo lovely with all the nice lights.
