Oh my...Much Ado 'Bout Nuthin', if ya ask me....that last post by Scruffy??? Of course there are two sides to every story. You see I have opened up a new bizzness....Lacie's Furminatin' Service...yes...I've decided to offer my incredible talents for your use, dogs, kitties and hammies. GROOMING.
Any animal with a double wiry coat will benefit greatly from my STRIPPIN' SERVICES!!! That's right Khyra...you heard me. For other dogs, namely the furless ones like the whippets, perhaps you may just need a pedicure? Or your sanitary section trimmed? A little revision of your undercarriage??? (Now boyz, that doesn't include vet services...for that you will need to consult with your health care provider....)
As for yesterday with stoopid Scruffy...I was merely trimmin' his beardie up...can't believe the stoopid dog ate the refuse.....
Last night I decided both boyz could benefit from a good fur removal.....as you can see with excellent results!!!!
Here's the tail-tucked backend of Stan lookin' at the what I removed from him and Scruffy...yes...there are a few groomin' tools layin' around...BUT MOSTLY I USE MY TEETH.
Scruffy's tryin' to figure out if he can glue it back on...that dog has more fur than Stanley and much less surface area....
I still need to work a bit on Stan's ears...all that fur was makin' me well....
THIRSTY!!!So...if any of ya wish to take advantage of this new service, just text me...with this dwindlin' 'conomy, my prices are very competitive...and I guarantee the results....
Oh...and I'm insured and bonded in case of accidental injury with sharp objects...namely my TEETH. (Accuracy cannot be 100% guaranteed, but I try...)

After giving your offer considerable thought, I have decided that I should remain on my own side of the state and look for a groomer who is located closer to my home who uses more traditional methods of furmination.

ouch that looks like it hurts. It's so cold here, Madison has decided to KEEP her double-coat for the time being.
Lacie..have you considered selling the fur to whippets and Jack Russell Terriers and others not as well endowed as those of us with double coats? Muzzer has a friend with corgis who makes sweaters out of their trimmins', so it might work out.

I hope you do facials because I'm totally needing one! You can't even see my eyes (my girl's been getting kind of lazy on the facials around here). Plus, I think I have some fish scales and peanut butter stuck in my beard so I need a good washin' too. Should I come to you or do you want to come to GooberStan? As for being misunderstood, I'm tired of it but I think it goes with the territory. I know you know that when others have contact with a being they do not understand, or if they're jealous, then they go into attack mode. It's just ignorance, but they are only hurting themselves by keeping at a distance the gooberifficly amazing wonderfulness that is a Lakie... especially a Lakie Girl!
We know that at the heart of it we are very tender souls who have the weight of the world on our shoulders. We just step up to do what no other dogs have the balls to do ~ keep order. Just give me (or you) 30 seconds with the likes of Mango, or Petey, or any of those other pups who are talking you down and they'd be whipped into shape (their parents would probably thank us)!
Personally, I choose to ignore all of the hype (which is easier for me since I don't get the press coverage you do). It's tres blase! It bores me. We know we're fabulous, and if a pup would take the time, they'd find a real treasure.
I always say, "Don't hate me because I'm bootiful. Get to KNOW me!"

You did a great job, Lacie! We all got furminated yesterday, but it was with an actual Furminator...no teeth! Okay, maybe a FEW teeth, but most of them were used on Mom!

GUYS we totally got the COOKIES!!!!! OMDOG Thank you guys so much. I was a little scared when I saw they were from Lacie too, but luckily they were totally sealed with plastic so I know they weren't tampered with. omdog we are going to go beg Mom for one right now!!

But that's a heap 'o hair layin' there so it looks like someone is feelin' a bit lighter in the jacket area.....yep, Gram was at us again too....wish we could find a buyer fer all the fur she takes off us....I mean maybe someone else could use it in all this cold......LIKE US !!!!!

Great idea to get a skill during this terrible time with the economy. Did you have to go to barber school to get trained? What do you charge the ones that get a trim? Are you going to start paying your mom and dad rent or save all of the $$$$$ for yourself?
Lacie! I see you and my boyfriend are both judges. I hope there aren't any super swingin' judge parties that are going to be happening. I tried to enter the non-sporting category and that relentlessly huge Mango wouldn't let me. Said I was trying to throw the competition.
As for Furminators, I got me one of those. I don't mind it so much, but my mom just hates all my furs everywhere. She says she wants me to win a Dyson in that Mango Minster competition. Do you think you judges will be giving out any Dysons?
