Of Mice and Mumsie....!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! OMD...HILARIOUS!!! Simply hilarious!!!
Lacie here...so this mornin' Mumsie staggers outta bed and glances at the yardie perimeter....seems some vermin had arrived (Mrs. Turkey) with whom she had a discussion that it might be best for her to leave before we terriers came out and made lunchmeat outta her.
She quickly complied...'specially when she saw us removin' the mayo, bread and lettuce from the fridge.

Trotted off into the woods.

Now Mumsie still half asleep walks around back to find Stan barkin' at the turkey, Scruffy sniffin' madly by this bush and me...well, I was tryin' to decide which Snack N' Yak bush to feast on this morning....mmmmmm.....

Yes, it makes me do barfies...NO, I AM NOT ANOREXIC....but a girl does hafta fit into the latest trendiest styles..."What, Mumsie?" "We're gonna be havin' a discussion bout that later???"
Sheeshch.....

Anyway, she staggered half asleep doin' her usual mornin' jobs...sweepin' up the mulch that we flung everywhere last night in a mad game of chase, cleanin' up poop, her favorite AM chore.

All this without the benefit of her dear newspaper and Coke Zero...not a coffee drinker, that one....and she's crabby without her Zero....

She notes Scruffy um IN THE BUSH.

Going completely NUTSO......

And then it happened. THE BUSH 'SPLODED.
Scruffy had um well....dug his way into a mouse nest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeppers...mice everywhere....there was even one crawlin' up the bush and hangin' there like a Christmas ornament......
One mouse took off and headed straight at Mumsie...lookin' like he was gonna climb up her leggie or worse yet crawl up the inside of her nursey scrubs she was wearin' for jamies....
YOU HAD TO HEAR THE SCREAMS.....

She took off runnin' droppin her trusty pooper scooper in the mad frenzied dash 'cross the yardie....then she realized how stoopid she looked and collapsed laughin' in the grass.....

Nuff Said...I mean, they aren't exactly dinosaurs, are they?

Now Scruffy refused to leave his bush...but his twenty seven bladders were um well FULL.
So he trotted quickly over to Daddy's favorite lounge chair and DID THE DEED. If you bigify this pic you can see why we think Scruffy is full of pis er um has numerous bladders...he's a medical marvel!

He's still lookin' for those mousies!!!! Tenacious Terrier, huh.....

I'm still wonderin' what the neighbors thought when they heard Mumsie screamin' her full head off....
You really had to be here.

We wish we could have seen that bush 'splode! Hahahahaha! Meeses EVERYWHERE! Our mom thought she wasn't afraid mice until she had one in the house! Of course, if she had had Aire-heads, there wouldn't have been a mouse!

I guess Mrs. Turkey knows when to retreat!

Well Lacie
Our mum laughed so much she had tears running down her face! We dont really understand how anyone can sit and laugh at the computer like that. Our Dad reckons it is time to think about putting her away!!!
We saw dinosaur footprints on our holiday - they were huge. Those mice were tiny! Mum are so silly sometimes. Have your read Mango's blog - they are all losing it we tell you.
Have a good weekend.
love

I don't suppose the neighbors gave your mom screeching a second thought. I am sure they are used to hearing all sorts of strange sounds coming from your place.

Can Scruffer maybe come over to visit? Our mice in the attic are back and they are avoiding the trap and driving momma even nuttier.

Khyra suggested a mom swap but I think it will be hard to find one that isn't a total loon to trade up to.

What a riot! Did anyone call the cops? When our two-legger sees mice she screams and dances with wild abandon.

My mom would have passed out cold. Seriously! She knows she needs therapy for this one. She gets so freaked out at the sight of a mouse that her knees literally go wobbly. She's a total weirdo. She'd probably try to hug a polar bear, but a mouse scares the knees out of her.

P.S. I hope you guys don't poop Stanley out before he gets to me.

What a MORNING?! Did you check out our blog on Tuesday? Tanner is sort of ticked off at Lacie. Seems she has Eric Byrnes thinking about clothes, not baseball.

Anyway, I have never seen a mouse LIVE and in person. Saw a dead one in the yard once, Tanner was trying to eat it. I sure hope your Mom recovers from this one.

Oh my... What a horror story! I hope Munsie is alright. None one should have to go through that awful experience so early in the morning.

And Scruffy, you are a true hero, so brave to take on all those mouses all by yourself! No wonder I love you!

Love and Koobuss Kisses for Everybody,
Koobie

You know what? We didn't have to be there! We got the picture very very clearly and we were rollin on the floor laughing with ya. We had to interrupt the Girl two different times to come and look and read and laugh with us! And, we have to ask.... were those the mice? Those cute little white things??? They had to've been someone's pet! Too cute to eat, but definitely fun to chase!

We'll be dreaming about this one...

Our mom has the same reaction to those cute little meeces! Mitch and Scruffy would be dynamic together! Once Mitch gets an aroma of mousie, he's on the case and won't give up ever! That boy is a better mouser than any girlie!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
