Scruff here...first of all Mumsie made me put this stoopid pic in of her peonies....she said it's entitled "Potential"....I think it should be called "Boring".....yawn......I have soooooooo much work to do our yardie....and no good help!
Psycho Bambi is back....hidin' some fawns in the brush....she ran straight toward me yesterday.....Mumsie chased her waving a bag of whole wheat bread at her; it was hilarious.

And we had a hoooooooge male turkey back right under our bedroom window....makin' all kinds of racket. Mumsie couldn't figure out what kinda dog was barkin' like that. Mr. Turkey musta wanted another DATE with Lacie. Sheeshch.....

And squirrels....tons of them...crows...still sniffin' Gooberstan's raw bones he left........
I HAFTA PROTECT THE PERIMETER!!!!!!!!!
With this kinda help......

Hope he doesn't strain himself.........

And this little smilin' diva....protect the perimeter?????...she'd be invitin' all the vermin in for DATES!!!!!

The Black and Tan Club in action. OR NOT.

Good help....where do I find good help????????????
Reportin' barks...

Hi Scruff
Our mum loved the boring peonies - funny people these mums!
Now the important stuff - Bailey is the very dog for you. She in always on the alert and loves chasing even the birds in the sky!
We will dispatch her immediately - dont be put off by her little legs, believe me she can move. I prefer to just take things easy myself and dont really worry about things like perimeters!
love
Martha xx

Scruffy I'm your dog. Be there when the sun passes the yard arm. Have the dogtinini's ready and yappity yap at Lacie to get out of her revealing bikini(she might consider boy shorts next time - more flattering for the bigger buttses)and rustle up a a deer poop pizza. And if Mumsie has any of the frightening bread and you have got the bird, some turkey pate on toast would be the ticket too. Perimiter work gives me a ferocious ....apettite.

Scruff you certainly do appear to have a small problem.

Now we would normally be only too happy to offer help but it seems half the DWB community is already on its way to you. There will certainly be a right old racket going on in your yard when they arrive!

Molly and Taffy

PS. Just make sure they don't stampede over the peonies. :-)

Scruffer, what a couple of lazy slugs you live with. I bet Lacie would date that turkey fella.

Your mom is growing Pee-On-Me's? Are they just for you?

Wow! We didn't know that whole wheat bread would repel bambis! Us doggies used to do a great job of repelling them...until some idiot put up a fence at the back of our yard and built a school behind the fence. Now, we never see a bambi!

Hi Scruffy! Hmm...there's definitely a lot going on in your back yard. Sometimes we get big iguanas in our back yard trying to eat our flowers and leaving giant iguana poops. Our mom goes out and yells at them but they don't care. I'll have to tell her about the whole wheat bread trick!

See ya!
Joey

P.S. Very cute smiling diva pic!

Hey Scruffy,
Snickers & I will help you protect your yardie. We're experts at it, hehehehe. Deer, turkey, racoons, woodchucks, squirrelies, mink, pheasants & those mean Monster Birds (great blue herons). Do you think we qualify?? Ahh, do we get paid in doggie biscuits??

Mumsie's peonies will be pwetty. Mama has some too. We're waitin' to see the baby deer around here. More deer have been sleeping in our yard again at night. They better stay away from Mama's hostas & apple trees if they know what's good for them.
Luv & Wirey Hugs,
Butchy, Snickers, Ruby, Sylvester & Scuby
PS Scruffy II has been getting some acupunture while his new skin is being grown, hehehehe!

Hi Scruffy,

I may be black and tan, but I'm totally up for helping you protect your perimeter. Since I live in the city, I ensure no squirrels, rabbits or even rats come near my building. When I'm out in the country at my grandparents, I've chased off tons of rabbits, possums, moles and even a beaver. Mom says she hopes I never have to chase off the evil coyotes that live out there. So, now you've got a bit of my resume, hope you can use me.

Your pal,
Kirby

Scruffy,
If I were there, I'd help you out. I'm always protecting my yard from squirrels, birds, rabbits, stray cats, possums, and the like. It's a dog's duty afterall. Maybe those other two are so lax about it because they know you're on the job.

protection? then there would be so fewer scents in which to bathe!
We have the opposite problem- when going for nature walks the editor makes crazy distraction and noises to keep my attention away from deer, turkeys, groundhogs and anything else that might be an inducement to chase. I say get your human on the job.
Love your last pic,
