Snorkels and Fins???

Yep, what a mess!!!! This was the scene at Heinz Field last week where our embarrassing field conditions were displayed on Monday Night Football. Then they didn't do the national anthem cuz the stands were empty as the fans had to leave their seats due to lightening.

Koobuss and I had a blast. We had an oversized black and gold poncho that easily fit the two of us to do some serious snuggling from the rain. That was ruined when Lacie dragged Seymour under it too. (Seymour is grounded. He ate too much turkey on Thanksgiving and his wheels went flat. Now he can't wheel himself anywhere. Lacie just drags him. She loves it; he is requesting funding from Jackson, but he's evidently been cut off financially. )

So tomorrow nite's the Bengal's game here at home. It's freezing raining tonight....Koob's bringin' lottsa blankets. Any other dogs, hamsterries, kitties etc. who wish to join us are invited. It's gonna be COLD! (Mumsie went to way too many playoff games at Three Rivers Stadium in the 70's when she was VEEEERRRYYY young ....er like a teenager and nearly frooze her pants off...)

Am tryin' to think of transportation to Mountain Top, PA to pick up the Koobiegirl. Ideas???

By the sounds of the screaming in the family room, sounds like we shoulda gone to the Backyard Brawl....Pitt vs. WVA...Pitt is winning as I post.....unbelieveable.....we're psyched!!!!!!!!!

For all of your kind comments regarding my defending my sister, Lacie, I humbly thank you. It was a total sacrifice to leave the boring kitchen to CHASE A DEER, but I managed to overcome my inertia and rise to the occasion. Lacie has been bringin' me bones all week, and allowing me to use the pet bed...(we only have one, sniff...) All in all, it was a win/win situation: sissy is kissin' the Scruffman's paws this week. I'm lovin' it.

Scruffy
OK....figured it out after all...the Steeler trolley will be around to pick up Koobie and any other takers!!!!!!!

Ummm. COLD, huh? Not just cold, but COLD? And just sitting and watching the silly humans try to run? We can't chase them or show them how or anything. You know we're practically nekked. Umm. Don't want to be rude. But ummm. We have to do something. Now, even if it's minus a million and there's evil white stuff on the ground we'll be there in a BLINK if you need help with the giant deerabbits ever again. But we'll have to pass thanks anyway on the COLD human gallumph around game.

We watched that game, it was so yucky! It should be quite cold tomorrow and maybe you'll get some snow. It snowed all afternoon here then came the freezing rain. When I went outside, I slipped on our front step, but I'm OK. I recommend those little paw warmer things if you'll be at the game. They really know how to keep a pups paws warm. Oh, and Scruffy, way to get in there and defend Lacie. You are one tough guy. You're my role model!

Your pal,
Kirby

I'm ready, Scruffy!!! That Pitt-West Virginia game got me all psyched up for tomorrow. I don't care how cold it gets, Scruffy. As long as I'm with you, I'll be fine.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

Scruffman!!

Have fun at the game. Wish I could come, but I have a prior engagement (according to my girl). I'm sure that whatever it is, it will involve sissy-sitting, you can bet!

You guys have fun at the game (how could you NOT?)!! Hope to catch one with you sometime this season.

Goober love & continuing admiration for heroic acts of sacrifice,
Stanley

Yuck, that pitch looks bad. I don't really like mud. Or cold on my joints. Maybe I'd better give that game a miss! Have an excellent time though.

We're so sorry that we have to miss the game with you, Scruffy and Lacie but we have a cookie and eggnog pawty to attend this afternoon! You better dress extra warm! It sounds like you're gonna freeze your butts right to those bleachers! Good luck to those Steelers!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

That game tonight was a good one. I don't know what was worse, the field or willie parker dropping the ball every five minutes!

lightning??!! that is scary! i hear it burns people to a crisp! i hope you'll keep snug and dry at tomorrow's game! :)

ps: i'm not sure about the "calming" effect of the needles, but they sure have a "sulking" effect on ah pa and that puts him out of action for a while too!

I hope you had fun at the game...Did you keep warm? Mom got a Canon Rebel XT. It is capable of being pretty high tech for my mom, but she just puts it on the automatic setting and snaps away. She is quite happy with it so far. It is SUPER easy to transfer pics to a computer, but each picture runs 2-3MB in jpeg form. Most of the ones she takes are closer to 3MB. The 3.5 pictures a second is what sold us on it...That means more pictures of me!

Hercules
