Hi Everyone....Scruffy here!!! Lacie was a little nervous bout the skatin' pawty at Butchy and Snickers this weekend. While I am an experienced hockey player, Lacie has never been on the ice before. On the few occasions she's met up with it in our driveway, well....she fell flat on her face. I decided we needed a pre-pawty practice time. I took her to the big skating rink in downtown Pittsburgh at PPG Place. I thought it was really convenient they had lighted facilities for male dogs smack in the middle of the rink.
Um...Lacie fell...A LOT! I hope some of you doggies might be able to steady her with a paw as she tries to skate on Butchy's pond. Hope she stays far far away from that big hole on it!!!!!

I am not even going to risk skating! I can see myself ending up with a broken hip. I'll look after the foods and drinks ;-)

It'll take some practice, but you will get the hang of it. Soon enough you'll be doing jumps and all kinds of tricks. Keep practicing!

Skating? Whew, that is some talent! I wouldn't mind seeing that! I don't like the ice so much, but can you see if they can have some snow? Then I can build a snow dog for all of us to tackle! That would be pretty fun!

Okay, my mum used to compete in figure skating, and she taught young kids how to skate to pay for coaching fees. Well one day, there was a little boy who refused to go on the ice, and guess what my back then 16/17 year old mum did?? She brought me to the side of the rink and told the little boy to see if he can beat me onto the ice (cause I was crying and whining at the edge because i was a little um.... scawred....). Of course, he beat me and was all pround of it. Mum carried me around and then put me back in the hockey penalty box..
OK OK... I'm so nervous for you Scruffy and Lacie....... will your house STINK up?? I would HATE to think I'm responsible for it....
