Spring and the Dear Deer!!!!!

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!!!!!

So yesterday we were playin' in the basement....we decided all at once to go upstairs...it was a triple terrier pileup....but we felt like George the Lad with Saturday Steps!!

We get upstairs and think we might see something....so Mumsie let us out....she nearly had a heartie attack when she looked out the window and saw this....

Lookit Stanley...have you ever seen the body language of a Dale to be more specific????

Scruffy looks like he's one of the deer herd...he's doin' a little grazing...

We had a meeting with these kids...we're having a Poker Pawty with them...they don't have much expression on their faces...could be a tough game!!!!!
Wanna come???
Kisses,
Mrs. Mango Backup Dog
No, I haven't married him...but I am a bit worried for our hatchling...I'm just not sure of Mango's nurturing skills....

Wow, quite an eye on that MFT. Yuh, photoshop for sure. Hey, guess what? Pea just chased one of those bambi things out of our neighbor's yard. Arf, arf, arf. Woke me up with all his yelling.

Stan sure looks fierce. What a dale!

The hatchling, well, is it awful that I just am not feeling anything other than I kind of want to bite its head off?

Slobbers,
Mango

Thought deer were supposed to be timid ? Better watch out they must be tough critters in your neck of the woods !

The poker party will be interesting. Will that be taking place on a stag night?

do not worry about the off sprung. There is a string attached, so if Mango or the Pea kinda sorta accidentally swallow it, it can be retrieved.

Not up for a poker pawty, unless there is gonna be lots of foods.

I would have thought that the deer would have run off the moment it saw you there. & um, yeah, I don't know about Mango's parenting skills too, he seems furry eager to put the hatchling in his huge jaws.

LOL yes that dale stance looks very familiar, and I'm sure it looked like a switch went off inside baby Stan and he turned into a BIG dale ready to rumble!!! The photo of Scruffman cracked me up... was he really grazing amongst the herd??? And none of you went up close?? I think if me and STINKY were there, the herd would have ran from the SuperDALE and kicked STINKY in the face (while he was doing a playbow) cause he is really bad at reading any body language.

ps. I saw your baby Lacie..... hmmm.... I'm a little speechless ... where did he get his colour from?

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade

Those PA deer must be made out of conrete or something! The deer in N.Idaho give a chase and there's no standing around looking buddy-buddy for us. We're all business and tell them to get off our land and they get going FAST!! Stan looks like he wants to give chase, but were you guys brainwashed into thinking that's not allowed??hmmm??

We remember lookin' outta that window. Wish we could be there again. Maybe if we were, and we had the chance to chase those deer, we'd know to at least bark at them here at home. Instead, we all just look at each other like best friends. (Someday we're gonna run free, and not just in Moma's dreams.)

Hey! We DID have a teensy bit of snow this morning! It's all gone now, but somethins better than nothin.

And. We want you to know. Bunny's been dragged off the kitchen counter dozens of times ... and Jake loves my leopard bra as much as I do. (No one is surprised!)

More soon.
We ARE hopeful

Wow! I cannot believe three barking and galloping terriers didn't frighten the deer!! I love how stanley's trying his best to protect the yard and Scruffy's joined their herd!!
