Lotsa Fun in the Summertime...!!!

Sheeschsch, it's hot...Lacie and Scruffy play and splash in our pool...but they don't let me in....

I try to cool off in the grass...only works for a while....after meditatin' on it, I asked Mumsie to take me swimming...she agreed...here's the pix.....

This is a dog park by our house with a saltwater pool...we went there last year...it's where we found out that Lacie's very heavy bottom end...DOESN'T SWIM...IT JUST SINKS....Hahahahahaa!!!! She didn't come today...she's grounded for kissin' Joey or somethin'.....

Baylee, Bruvver and Sus' doggie came...she walked right in and started swimmin' like a little fishie!!

Lotsa water dogs up here...VERY SERIOUS bout their pool time....nosie to nosie with a labradude...

I hesitated and decided to give it a try....

SPLASH!!!!!!!! Knocked half of the water outta the pool! I have heavy bones...

Check out this Golden Girl...very serious bout her water toy...!

I just asked if I could see it for a second.....look at the eye she's givin' me....don't ya love her tail...the little dry puff on the end???

The pool became a lot more fun with a mission...get that toy away from her!

Ahh...the sneak attack...works ever time...I nabbed it and took off...silly retriever...she chased me forever!

Then Bruvver walked in still dressed in his work dressup clothes...like the stain I made on his butt???!! Ya shoulda seen the front of him, but this is a family blog....HAHAHAHAHAHAA!

Look at these bullies...they don't have our long terrier noses...ya shoulda heard 'em breathin'....it was like an asthma attack on steroids....

Lacie here...I just had to squash some rumors I just saw on the tabloid covers..."Joe and Lacie, Plus Eight Birds" etc....

Here's what REALLY happened in that Heron's nestie when we were on the Great Baby Wheelie Rescue....

Yes...I was workin' Under the Covers...disguised in a Heron costume....this "Heron" and I were in the middle of a TOTALLY SMOKIN' HOT KISS, when the stoopid bird sez....WOW...YOUR BUTT IS AS BIG AS SOME LAKELAND TERRIER'S I KNOW...NAME OF LACIE...

Well, I just saw feathers at that point and hauled off and slugged the bird...cept it wasn't a bird...it was that stoopid Joe Stains in his Hugh Heffner bathrobe, a fireman's hat and a lot of feathers....

I musta scared him cuz he let loose with a hooge stain completely soakin' the nest and drippin' on to the ground beneath.....

He grabbed the Baby and fled leavin' me to explain to the hostile Herons what I was doin' in their nestie...totally blew the covers right offa me....

Seemed prudent to take leave at that point...

Double O Lacie: Under the Covers!!!

Hi Everybody!! I'm sure you have all heard by now the awful kidnapping of Myrna and Gilbert's second puppy by that hooge Heron out at the hospital in Iowa....

I decided to sacrifice myself and to go UNDER THE COVERS with a Heron and try to sniff out some info on the Baby's whereabouts!!!

Here's my first Under The Covers Spy Costume....Scruffy and Stan laughed and said that it's my turkey costume...that I would never be able to um well lets just say "snuggle" with a Heron in that getup....hmmmmmmmm.....

Mango gave me this Squirrel Outfit...actually I like this costume a lot...I brought back a ton of grape salt water taffy from the beach and I can store it in my jowls without getting my mouth stuck shut....now that's a style crampin' experience....

My brothers said this costume wasn't gonna fly either...pawdon the pun...frankly I love these purple sheets...I mean if you hafta go Under the Covers, you should at least have a thread count of 600, don't ya think??????

Sheesch....this isn't exactly my STYLE....look at these sheets...they're so rough they feel like sticks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But sometimes we hafta make bodily sacrifices to help in an investigation......

Talkin' bout sacrifices...this whole thing has been a hoooooge pain in my well neck....

BUT I DID FIND OUT SOME INFO....

Here Comes the Bride!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lacie here....we're back from the WEDDING!!! Sus and Bruvver are official!!!!! Thought you'd like to see some pix of the events!!! Here's our hooman sissy, Catwoman helpin' Sus with her veil....isn't her train pretty??????

Here's the Bride with her Flower Girl...as we were gettin' these snaps the storm that had been threatening sorta 'SPLODED!!! Um, well....the bridal arch blew over, the chairs collasped in a heap and the piano got soaked and we lost all the audio....like no mikes or whatever....they had to move the ceremony inside...another delay cuz there was a leak in the ballroom ceiling...like it was rainin' inside....

Thankfully, the Bride thought some restorative champagne was in order...BEFORE THE CEREMONY!!!!

Good thingie Sus has a sense of humor...she needed it just about then!!!! CHEERS!!! They say if it rains on your wedding day, it's really lucky....this couple is going to be really really lucky...it was a monsoon!!!!!

Isn't this beach wedding cake divine looking, though that cake topper leaves somethin' to be desired.....the cake was lemon with raspberry filling....pawsitively DELISH!!!!!!!!!

It was a FABBERS WEDDING....we extend our heartiest terrier wishes to the happy couple!!!

OMD....CAN YA BELIEVE IT????? WE WON!!! Our Penguins won the Stanley Cup!!!!!!!! We are in shock!!!!!!!!! We're down here in Myrtle Beach for Bruvver's Wedding...but we dashed outta the rehearsal dinner to watch the game....the wedding pawty people went to a Steeler's Bar....they're still party-ing down!!!!! We three flew by private jet to Detroit and skated out hearts out to help the team....well, Stan and I skated....Lacie just continued to distract the opposition in her bikini.....seems to have worked huh!!!!

They invited us down on the ice and Sid Crosby himself handed Stan and me the cup...Lacie's holdin' out her paws but she's a little too short and that cup weighs three times her weight!!!!

OH MAN.....IT WAS A TOTALLY FABBERS NIGHT FOR HOCKEY IN PITTSBURGH!!!!!!!!!

Lacie thought you girls might want to seem some pix of the rehearsal....it was SO HUMID that the camera lens kept fogging....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the bridesmaids....our Sissy is the tall girlie...in the purple print dress....good color choice said Lacie!!!!

Here's the happy couple (we know Asta musta helped Sus with her colors!!!)....it was amazing that Susan got Brian outta his hockey jersey...he wore it ALL DAY LONG......

The wedding is tomorrow night at 6:00.....hope they don't mind if we come???!!!!!

Well, ya see...Bruvver and Susan's weddin' is this weekend down in Myrtle Beach....aren't their colors pretty??? That tropical blue and Asta orange go so well together!!!!!!





Beach weddings are so dreamy!!!! Mumsie's shovin' us all at camp...but we're bustin' out....we'll be at the beach before they are!!!!!!! Bet you wanna see what I'm wearin' to the wedding?????


Isn't this adorable??? Asta designed it....it's lovely! Mumsie has this really pretty silk dress....AND STANLEY SLOBBERED ALL OVER IT....BIG DALE NOSE SNOT AND DALE BEARD JUICE....it's at the cleaners...and it's never been worn......she was a bit disturbed.

See the above???? YEPPERS...THE PENS WON TONIGHT....SO WE HAVE GAME SEVEN......

SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE REHEARSAL DINNER!!!!!

I'm figurin' this is Bruvver's outfit for the rehearsal dinner...Um...ya hafta wear the same thing for every game...AND DON'T WASH IT....he's gonna be one sweet smellin' groom to be!!!!

Trust me ...there will be a TV there....Susan's just relieved the game wasn't during the wedding ceremony....it's a good thing she's a major hockey fan too, but we're thinkin' the TV might drown out their vows....

Hi Everybody....Lacie here...for those interested Readers wanting to know if Mumsie found her right eyebrow yet...well...the answer is yes and no. She didn't find it...Scruffy did...it was on her chair....musta fallen off when she was readin' the paper and drinkin' her Coke Zero. He ate it.

We have groomin' appointments this afternoon....I generously offered to sell her some of my Rare Lakie Fur to make into a brow.....(Lacie ponders how this act of kindness may affect her karma....)

MORE IMPORTANTLY...Our Penquins are in the Stanley Cup Final...for you non hockey fans...it's the Superbowl of hockey......We're playin' the Deeeee troit...Red Wings...they beat us the first two games...(it's the best of seven)...but games three and four returned here to the Burgh......

AND WE WON BOTH GAMES...The series is tied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thought you might like to see some pix of the action......

Above pic is Mellon Arena...used to be the Civic Arena....oldest facility in hockey....and it's gonna be replaced very soon....that's sorta sad, but we love the sport...what can ya do???? Time marches on.......
