Pullin' and Tuggin' For Jackson!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Lacie here! Now before anyone fusses, I did raise a white sock of truce. Scruffy and I are being very sweet to each other. Um, I didn't want any of you Boyz to BE AFRAID OF ME and not ask me out on a date!

AND I have had an idea! Yeppers, the proverbial light bulb.

Cuz we're all thinkin' of Jackson and his upcomin' surgery this week, we've been:
BARKIN' at the Dog Star!

Recitin' prayers!

Flyin' prayer flags on Everest....

BUT I kept thinkin' there must be something else. Something easy. Something FUN....

And I got it!

'Member this? From Romeo's Wirewalk for cancer this spring? Wires walkin' and pullin' for a Cause??? SO.......It doesn't just have to be Wires...or dogs...kitties and hammies can pull and tug too!!

So we went on a walk today and pulled and tugged our darndest for Jackson!

Look at the tension in these leashes. Look at us tryin' to pull Mumsie's arms outta her sockets!

We're all pullin' FIERCELY together for Jackson to get well!

And after all that pullin....we decided to play leash macrame with Mumsie....and tied her up in knots. Oh....the fourth doggie here is Baylee....back for a visit while her mommy is outta town.

I was a little tired when we got back so I decided to lie down in the grass and rest a bit. I need to go and get back into my nursin' uniform and get back to England and Sweet Jax.
Paws crossed, Everybody....and LET'S ALL PULL TOGETHER!

It's Not Wise to Mess With the Lacie.

Lacie here. Thank you all for your kind comments regarding my question of whether my head is GINORMOUS. The consensus of opinion is my head is pawfectly in proportion to my body. (There were a few boyz who dug some holes making statements that it makes my butt look smaller....be careful, be very careful.)

So I get on Jackson's puter here in England (we're recovering him after his test today) and I see this above picture that SCRUFFY POSTED ON MY BLOG. I really have little to say about the situation, cept I did find a copy of PHOTOSHOP FOR REALLY STOOPID WIRES in his crate. Enuff said?????

The following content is not appropriate for younger pups or kitties.

Speaking of Scruff...heh heh heh....when Mumsie picked us up from the Spa on Saturday, the Groomer mentioned Scruffy HAS A RASH ON HIS "SANITARY SECTION." So Mumsie took him to the vet yesterday. She told the vet all about the RASH on his particular SECTION. She and the vet stared at it (Scruffy's Section) for a while and the vet said it was one of the best U FEN ISMS she's ever heard. Frankly, I don't think the vet stared at it long enuff. I would call that area Scruffy's "UNSANITARY SECTION." They discussed medicine and Benny Drill for itching. Now I know many dogs we know use SOCKS for itching. So I'm thinkin' (being the thoughtful sister that I am) that old Scruff needs some special socks to wear to keep him from er, shall we say aggravating himself.

I thought something like this might work. I don't know why he would need two. But then, I had some other IDEAS. (Lacie giggles and twirls around singing.)

These anti-itchie socks seem to have a little more, shall we say, PERSONALITY? Thoughts???? But then I found the coup de gras.....PAWFECT for my sweet brother (who had the audicity to post that HORRID pic of my swelled head on the Web.)

YEPPERS....THIS SOCK IS IT....THIS SOCK IS MY FRIEND. This guy will work bootifully to prevent Scruff from doin' any damage and irritating his RASH.

Bottom line, Scruffy?
It's unwise to mess with the Lacie.

GOTCHA!~

Falling down in fits of giggles and hysterical Lakie laughter......and hiccuping!

Distractin' Jackson...

As many of you know, Asta and I are in England helping out Jackson. He has to go in for another test tomorrow and Asta suggested that we distract him someway to take his mind off going to the vets. I thought I would perform a classical ballet for him. I hope the beauty and peacefulness of this dance will relax him and provide a gentle distraction. I have to go....Asta's calling me...my bruvver's said they have a distraction for Jackson, too.......
Hey Jax....Stan and I thought this pic might be quite the distraction for ya. Lacie's head really is swelled, isn't it?????
Good luck with your test tomorrow, Buddy. We've been barkin' at the Dog Star for ya constantly...to heck with the neighbors! We'll all be thinkin' of and prayin' for you....We love ya, Man!

Spa Day...And Wishin' On A Star!!!

Hi Everyone! Lacie here. We saw this on Asta's blog. Our friend, Petey gave us the idea of lookin' to the dogstar and thinkin' bout Jackson. So like many of you, when we go out at night we gaze upward and send our best wishes out to our sweet friend. That dogstar looks suspiciously like a terrier.Asta, some of the other nurses and I have been commutin' back and forth to Jackson's giving him some nursin' help. I must admit, his toofers are workin'...go see his bloggie on his latest toy destruction. It's an art form. We are thinkin' of him constantly and sending him the most PAWSITIVE thoughts!!!!!

Scruffy and I just got back from the spa, today...we had pedicures and fur strippin'. Stan goes on Tuesday. Two terriers were enuff for our groomer for one day.

Nuthin' like some good roachin' on the carpet to get rid of that perfumie smell.

Does my face look hooge? Scruffy said that's why I sank at the pool. That my head's waaaaaaay too big for my body. Sniff.....And he said it's NOT full of brains...but that fiberfill stuff that goes in a pillow. He should talk.

Opinions? Tell the truth.

Lookie...look at Scruff whisperin' to Babystan bout my headgirth. I know that's what they're talkin' about. What else could they be discussin'?

Ginormous head shakes...

Jackson Day

Our blog today is devoted to Jackson. His parents got a bad report from his latest round of tests and we are saddened and very worried about this. We are thinking about him and his family and flooding heaven with our prayers. Jackson has been our wise wiry leader for a long time and now we need to offer him and his family our support.
We're posting this picture of these prayer flags on Mt. Everest to represent the seemingly insurmountable troubles that Jackson has already overcome and to remind us that hope is always present and prayers that his current problems can be healed.
Today, tomorrow and the days to come are Jackson Day. We are thinking of him with love.

First Blogoversary and Healing Zen Flowers!

Ahh....Lacie here....does this pic look familiar? Lacie's First Ice Cream! It's our ONE YEAR BLOGOVERSARY!!! These are the first two pics you ever saw of me on our bloggie. Um...actually it was Scruffy's blog. For one day. These pics were from our vacation last year when I was still a pup...5 months old!
Now this was rather hoomiliating for a LIFEGUARD....guess the Peeps thought I couldn't swim! Now I have some pics around here somewhere of Scruffy for our first post, but they seem to be misplaced. And of course Babystan didn't join us till Christmas....so...you can just look at MOI!

I went out in the yard today to pick a bouquet of healing flowers for our friends who have been having some health issues. (Of course, I picked lots of Queen Anne's Lace...since that's my real name and it's in bloom!) These are for Jackson, Snickers, Noah and his sissy Tess and any other dog, kitty or hammie who needs some healing sniffies. If you put your nosies right up to ur puter screen, you'll be able to sniff them from all the way at your house!!!!!

Here are Babystan, Scruff and I sittin' around on this hot summer day thinkin' about not only our friends who aren't feelin' well and need our help, but all of you whom we've met over the past year. You brighten our day and make us laugh, cry and be silly!!! This is the most caring, loving group ever and it's a privilege to know you. We love you all!!!!
Scruffy, Lacie and Babystan (and Mumsie too!!!!!)

Water Safety Instruction? Or More?

Scruff here. Due to the success of my last post, and the fact Lacie is havin' a facial, I'm doin' the reportin' today. So yesterday was Wheelie Wednesday. And Gilbert didn't post. I'm thinkin' he's too busy.
Now there have been some rumors spreadin' bout possible Wheelie/Stuffie Takeover. RUMORS, just that. Now tell me if ya see anything suspicious in these pics. We dawgs are supposed to be keepin' our eyes peeled for signs of unrest. The above pic is our three oldest dawgs...combined age? Probably bout 150 years. There's some life wisdom inside those furballs.

Now what do ya suppose Gilbert, Foxy Puppet and Very Old Stuffie are talkin' about? Could it be a gardenin' lesson on Black Eyed Susans? Or 'splainin' the electric fence boundaries to which those dogs are darn close. Or something more sinister?

Look at the rapt expressions on those Stuffed Terrier faces! I can't get close enought to hear and not be seen.

Oh my...Foxy Puppet seems to have stabilized himself on something rather wobbly. Hey...THAT'S MINE! That's my Chuck It ball thrower. Giveitback!!!!!!

Oh, Good Grief. Is that what this is all about? Was Gilbert, et al just explainin' water safety rules? Or something more?

They look like they're ready to jump!

Um, this guy had an oopsie! Look at his beard drippin'. He's out dryin' in the sun now.
So, Scruffy signin' off here. I'm givin' no opinions on what this meeting was about. My job is to present the facts and allow you, Gentle Reader, to make your decisions.
